Hi. I’m Mark Stopa, author of People v Money and creator of this website. Welcome to my blog!
People v Money is a lot of things. An exposé. A call to action. In many ways, it is also my story – intimate details of my career and life, woven into horrifying tales of government corruption – all shared in a sincere effort to give a voice to the powerless and change our system of government. Can my story accomplish all of that? I’d like to think so. But I need your help.
Do you have a foreclosure story you’re willing to share? An experience with the court system? Banks? Judges? Now is the time, and this is the forum. Submit your story via email, blog@peoplevmoney.com, for review and publication on this website.
Which stories will be approved for publication on this blog? There are no “rules” or “requirements.” Your story need not be 700(+) pages. It need not expose corruption or discuss the law. The floor is yours. My hope is that your story, along with those of other Americans from all walks of life, will help shine a spotlight on the horrors that ensue when government officials shirk the will of the people by aligning with big business.
Maybe … just maybe … if judges and other public servants read our collection of stories, they’ll remember why they were elected into public office in the first place.
Understand how America’s biggest banks bought off the court system, facilitating the biggest redistribution of wealth in modern U.S. history.
Get involved. Contact your Congressmen and local representatives. Let your voice be heard. Be the change you want to see.
